The price of the type of artificial grass you would like to have installed

We have several types of artificial grass in our collection. These range in price per m2 from €12.95 to €42. As you can see, there are clear price differences between the different types of artificial grass. These differences are determined by several things. The main ones: the fibre technique used, the colour scheme, the softness, how intensively the artificial grass can be used, the shape of the artificial grass and the number of m2 you purchase.

We see in practice that the vast majority of people choose artificial grass that looks as natural as possible. But it’s good to know that you can influence the overall cost of your artificial grass project yourself.

The number of square metres (m2) you would like to have laid

The moment you would like to have a large artificial grass lawn laid, this affects the price per m2. With a large artificial grass project, the price per m2 of artificial grass will logically decrease. We always work with customised quotations. The price for the artificial grass is part of this.

The place where we will lay artificial turf

Although the vast majority of people opt for artificial grass in the garden, we also lay artificial grass on balconies (roof terraces), for example. Here there is often a different surface (e.g. gravel or tiles). This requires a different approach.

It could also be that you would like to have artificial grass laid in the garden but that there are now trees and/or bushes there that you would like to remove. Of course, you can do this yourself, but it is also something we can do for you. We have several options when it comes to our installation service.

In addition, of course, we also look at the number of m2 of the total project. The cost per m2 obviously goes down the moment it is a larger project. This affects the price for e.g. removing the (artificial) grass, working the surface, laying the artificial grass and finishing.

The work you perform yourself

The moment you have artificial grass laid then we have 4 options as far as the work is concerned:

• Basic
• Comprehensive
• Complete

The vast majority of people opt for the package complete. But if you want to cut costs, you can bring down the price per m2 by already getting started yourself. You can see these options on the ‘have artificial grass laid’ page.

The finishing level

You can choose artificial grass without edging (which we do not recommend if you want to last longer with your artificial lawn) or with edging. And if you opt for edging, there are various options such as grey or anthracite concrete edging, hardwood planks or plastic edging.

Summary

As you can see, there are several things that play a role in the cost of laying an artificial grass mat. This is also why we always work with tailor-made quotes. Where you have flexibility in various areas: type of artificial grass, what you do yourself, etc. This has a direct relationship with the artificial grass price per m2.
