When installing artificial grass, we want a strong foundation. You can compare it to the foundation of a house. In creating this base, we consider how the artificial lawn will be used. Are children playing on it often? Is it used for sports? Or are there hardly any people on it, making it primarily aesthetic?
Furthermore, the water permeability of the artificial grass is important. You don’t want puddles to form quickly on the surface. It’s beneficial if the water can drain away quickly. To achieve this, we choose a sand bed of mixed granulate with a height of between 5 and 10 centimeters.
